RUTHIE BURTON
BROOKSVILLE-Ruth Evelyn (Fields) Burton, 81, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born on July 14, 1942 to the late Carlie Festus and Ruby Mae (Dennie) Fields. She was a member of Chatham Christian Church. She was a partner with her husband of Ameristop Convenient Stores.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Kelly Burton whom she married December 16, 1961. She is also survived her son, Kenneth Dean (Ximena) Burton of Alexandria, KY; her grandchildren, Dakota Michael Burton and Desiree Nicole Alrmailat.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Wayne Burton; and her brother, Ronald Lee Fields.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, with the funeral immediately following at 1 p.m.
Interment will take place at Neave Cemetery in Falmouth, KY.
